Finzen only collects data strictly necessary to provide the service:

A. Account and Authentication Data

When signing up for Finzen, you provide your email address and a cryptographically hashed password. This information is used exclusively to authenticate your account and allow secure password recovery.

B. Financial Information Voluntarily Entered

All records regarding your finances are entered manually and voluntarily by you. This includes:

Expense and income amounts.
Dates, notes, and transaction descriptions.
Category tags (default or custom created by you).
Recurring payments and periodic subscription schedules.

Important Notice: No Bank Connections

Finzen DOES NOT connect to your bank accounts, never requests bank credentials, and does not access external banking gateways. Tracking is manual and mindful, ensuring maximum confidentiality.

4Infrastructure & Technology Providers

For backend infrastructure, secure database storage, and authentication, Finzen uses Supabase (Supabase Inc.).

Supabase operates under industry-standard security protocols, including Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring that only authenticated users can access their own financial records.

5Data Security & Encryption

Encryption in Transit: All communication between the app and servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS.
Hashed Passwords: Passwords are stored using salted cryptographic hashes, so no one at Finzen or third parties can view your plaintext password.
Strict Data Isolation: Database-level policies enforce that only you can query or update your financial data.

Under applicable data protection legislation (GDPR), you hold the right to access, rectify, restrict, export, and permanently delete your account and personal data.
